Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB or Breathwork) is a modern therapeutic practice that involves consciously controlling the breath in a connected, rhythmic pattern. Breathwork emerged from various Western therapeutic approaches, including psychotherapy & bodywork. It typically involves breathing in a circular or continuous pattern, with focus on deep, connected breaths without pauses between inhales & exhales. This type of breath control changes the chemistry of the blood, impacting sensations in the body & the mind. The aim of breathwork is to go deep into subconscious layers to help bring clarity towards healing.
